Our veterans and active duty service men and women have sacraficed their peace of mind by being deployed into the horrors of warfare so that we can enjoy freedom from terror ourselves. This is an enormous sacrafice that is not being reciprocated. Our service men and women are returning with high levels of trauma. The results are intense nightmares, inability to sleep, hypervigilance, enormous anger, resentments, regrets, guilt, anxiety depression and suicidal thoughts.
They have truly lost their peace of mind. And up until now when they go to speak with a therapist (for the ones who do - and a great many don't) the first thing they are told is that they are changed and there is no going back. They are just going to have to live with it.
But is that really true? From the perspective of the current treatment model it seems true because these methods don't really have a cure for this problem.
The treatments that are being used to resolve PTSD include medication which basically numbs them to the intense feelings, exposure therapy that attempts to desensitize to the traumatic experiences, and other coping mechanisms such as cognitive therapy.
The military acknowledges that these treatments are not working. In recent grant application descriptions from the military it states that they are looking for new more effective treatments because the current ones are less than 50% effective. Even the definition of what effective means is however in question. Clearly a new apporach is needed.

Most people live their lives as the product of their conditioning, stuck in patterns of thinking and behavior that are incredibly confining without their even knowing that this is occurring. This is because of conditioning that happens while we are so young that we haven't yet developed language. These two things are what keep you stuck. They are the real barriers to having the continuous experience of wholeness. And they cannot be changed through will or intellectual understanding. You've already tried that and it hasn't worked. At the Power of How Seminar you will learn the simple, precise ways for how to remove these two kinds of inner barriers to having a continuous experience of the rich natural presence of Pure Awareness lively within you all the time.

If you don't think so then just think of this - Remember when you were little and you noticed something about your parents that you didn't like, maybe some way that they treated you? And you swore that when you grew up that you'd never treat your kids like that. Then you grow up and all of a sudden you find that you are doing the same things your parents did!!! This is the power of conditioning. By default you are going to operate out of your conditioning unless you specifically change the patterns of energy that hold that conditioning in place, otherwise your conditioning wins and you continue to live within the severe limitations that it creates, usually not even knowing that you are so profoundly imprisoned by it, just accepting the suffering that it creates because you don't know any better.
If you've made it this far in reading this letter it probably means that you hungry for real change, ready to learn how to really break free of limitation and suffering and take your life to a whole new level of freedom and fulfillment. You've most likely read the spiritual and personal development books and found that as beautiful and inspiring as the author's explanations of spiritual enlightenment are that reading such books has not produced the same kind of enlightening life experience for you. Such books provided by people who have had genuine spontaneous spiritual awakenings are often very beautiful and inspiring. However, they can also be frustrating because these authors and speakers may be able to describe what they are experiencing but they usually don't fully understand how to guide you to have the same kind of change in consciousness that they have. Their awakening didn't come with a road map. The practical aspect of HOW TO GET THERE is typically missing.
That's why I wrote the Power of How. And that's why we are launching the Power of How seminars. There will be more of them in the future both presented by me and by other trainers that I have trained. By the way, I've been invited to present some of the powerful techniques from The Power of How to 60 Viet Nam veterans at an annual reunion of their company which will happen this Saturday morning. So I won't be there to greet you when you arrive, The Power of How Seminar will be started by my dear friend and a master trainer of trainers of the Core Dynamics and Pure Awareness Techniques, Michael Stratford. I'll be there before noon but Michael will start things off for me while I introduce the veterans to our new technologies for trauma and fear resolution just north of us up at camp Pendleton. I've been working with some of these Viet Nam war vets and it's mind blowing to see the traumas they have been carrying inside themselves for 40+ years melt away in a matter of minutes. Incredibly inspiring! So they are starting to get excited about sharing this kind of experience with their buddies. We're also seeing the same kinds of incredibly fast and thorough resolution of the more recent traumas with vets and active duty service personnel coming back from Iraq and Afganistan. Aurora Winter
Another person whose work I deeply respect is Aurora Winter - The Grief Coach. Aurora recovered from her own grief of the loss of her husband while she was quite young. Sleeping Through the Night for the First Time in 40 years!!!
It is so amazing working with the vets with PTSD! The results that we get with HSE with so called normal people are always mind blowing but with the veterans, there is so much room for contrast that it is really amazing to see the dramatic changes. Along with resolving problems of hyper-vigilance, depression, the traumas of close combat fighting, I've worked with two vets who have been having nightmares ever since the the war in Viet Nam. In both of these cases, in just one session, that very night they slept through the night for the first time in 40+ years. Another vet is weaning off of his anti-depression medicine after we identified and resolved all of the traumas causing his depression. Wow! This is such rewarding work!
Although we are initially starting with veterans and their families, this program will be expanded to include anyone with PTSD including victims of violent crimes, natural disasters, rape victims, as well as policemen, firemen, rescue workers, etc. I'm sure that the results will be similar for everyone who is suffering from traumas.
Our 8 day training in November will be focusing on helping vets but it will provide the special protocols that can be used for PTSD for anyone who has it. During this program we will be working in person with veterans with PTSD. You'll not only see how it is done, but you'll also work with veterans yourself during the training.
This training is not just for veterans even though that is a major focus. Taking this training will teach you to do Core Dynamics Coaching at a whole new level. You'll learn how to resolve some of the most difficult and challenging problems that people can have.
The Training Venue

The training will be in the Grand Ballroom at the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort & Hotel, 5805 Armada Drive, Carlsbad, California 92008.

The training will be from 9:00 am until approximately 6 pm each day, with a lunch break. The ending time will be somewhat changeable so don't plan on scheduling anything immediately afterward as we may go longer on some days.
New Career Opportunities
The training will prepare you to be hired by GLT to work with us in helping to resolve this huge and urgent problem of PTSD, which is affecting our returning and already returned veterans. That includes not just those from Iraq and Afghanistan, but also from Vietnam, the Gulf War, and all other wars from which we still have veterans. We are also working with active duty men and women as well. This work is challenging, fulfilling and financially rewarding.
After we get the vet program established, we'll be expanding it to include everyone else suffering from PTSD. One of the great things about this program is that the funding for these sessions will be coming from donations, corporate sponsorships, and grants that will be made to a non-profit organization. We are finalizing the details of our agreement with a special non-profit organization that serves veterans and their families. Funds that are donated to this organization will be "donor directed" and will only be used to fund these sessions and the training of veterans who also want to learn how to do this work to help their fellow vets.
Of course we cannot guarantee that taking the training will lead to employment with GLT, but we do anticipate having a very high demand for people qualified to do this work. The plan is to not only help the vets in the USA, but also those in all of the allied countries that have been sending soldiers to Iraq and Afganistan. In fact, as the program gains momentum, we can make it available for all cases of PTSD worldwide. What an incredible opportunity to contribute to returning peace to all of these people's lives! We have a highly effective solution to this urgent and long standing problem and it's our responsibility to make it available on as large a scale as possible.
Whether you end up working for GLT or not, taking this training will prepare you for starting your own Core Dynamics Coaching / Human Software Engineering practice. And with the special extended part of the training you'll be able to help people in your local area who suffer from PTSD, however it may have been caused. This news show is different than that one sent out previously. In this one, Nico Marcolongo, who is a vet with two tours in Iraq joined me on Good Morning San Diego on Saturday October 3rd, KUSI Channel 9 that aired in the greater San Diego area. If you haven't seen it yet, this is a great video demonstration of using the CORE Technique to resolve a war trauma. We had a vet in the office just to have a discussion with him about some of his buddies and their experiences with PTSD. He didn't have PTSD, but he did have some war trauma. He was in a compound that came under mortar attack and he would have to take cover. He was still holding the energy of this trauma in his body. When he was out at Camp Pendleton and practice artillery rounds were being fired, he would get an adrenalin rush and lose focus. This video clip is a superb example of the CORE Technique:

Come to the November training - Vaporize Your PTSD - Vets Helping Vets - here are the training program details as we have them so far. The training starts with a special 8 day version of training in Human Software Engineering. This includes everything that has previous been in our Core Dynamics Coach Training program with some changes to the language as we are now referring to this as Human Software Engineer Training instead of Core Dynamics Coach Training.
Location - Carlsbad, CA at the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort & Hotel as mentioned above.
Dates - November 15-22, 2009
Times - Each day will be from 9:00 am until approximately 6 pm. The ending time will be somewhat changeable so don't plan on scheduling anything immediately afterward as we may go longer on some days.

New Non-vet Training Participants - If you have not yet taken one of GLT's training programs, such as Core Dynamics Coach Training or the WaveMaker Mastery program, the fee for this 8 day training is $3,895. That was our normal fee for the previous Core Dynamics Coach Training with the 4 day live event. Any one who is interested in learning to be a Core Dynamics Coach / Human Software Engineer can take this training. The extra four days of the training, that include additional details of the specifics of working with PTSD clients is included but not mandatory. For those of you who are just interested in regular coach training, it is highly recommended that you go ahead and take these extra four days as you will learn how to resolve deep traumatic issues that are often present even in so called "normal" clients. The fee of $3,895 covers all 8 days plus approximately five months of additional live webinars for continued learning, support and practice. To register click the link below.

One of the great things about this program is that many physically disabled vets such as those who have lost limbs or sustained other injuries can learn to help their fellow vets and make a great living in this new career!

You can help transform a veteran suffering from PTSD, someone who is dysfunctional and dependent on disability, who is highly likely to be a burden on society, become a criminal, be homeless, lose a marriage and/or family, or commit suicide. I was amazed to hear that more vets who served in Vietnam have died from suicide than were killed during that war. Returning any PTSD vet to a normal, healthy contributor to our society is not only good for the vet but good for everyone! Please give generously as this is the only way that this program is being funded.
Suggest related non-profit organizations - If you know of a non-profit organization that serves either veterans or people with other types of PTSD such as rape victims, victims of violent crimes, or any of the other versions of PTSD, please let us know. We are interested in forming alliances with many such organizations so that we can take in donor directed funds to help people in all of these categories.
