Last December Michael Stratford gave a GLT Community Call entitled - The Art of Provocation. I had so many comments and emails from people saying how much they loved the call including ones weeks later from people listening to the recording of it. As you probably know, Michael co-developed and co-presents the Core Dynamics Coach Training Program with me and we'll be teaching it together again this March - Core Dynamics Coach Training.

Michael was such a hit with his call in December that I've asked him to come back for an encore performance on February 12. His topic this time is - "Breaking the Certainty Addiction: Living in the Wonder of Uncertainty."

Here are Michael'l comments about this upcoming call -

It's always fascinated me that we seek certainty in a world that is defined by constant change. It's a form of looking for something where it is not. We foolishly seem to base our confidence in things we are "certain" of such as a relationship, job, or our health; and when that certainty leaves, we feel ineffective, tentative, and often helpless or fearful. These experiences then lead to the intellect's attempt to counter the feeling by trying to control things in one direction or another. Whether it's in the way we view the past so that we can feel okay about it, or in the way we interact with the present so we feel we can move forward into the future without risk and the subsequent fear it generates, these strategies are compensations created out of our discomfort with uncertainty. This is why we have developed a goal setting mentality. It's an attempt by the mind to make 'certain' something we desire occurs, and like HeMan, Master of the Universe be able to declare "I have the Powerrrrrrr!" We're going about it all the wrong way. Attempting to be certain about something as ephemeral as the human condition is like eating air when you're hungry. It may seem like you're doing something but ultimately there's no 'food.' If you'd like to break the addiction to this form of trying to force an outcome as well as the addiction's other forms, then come join the community call. I guarantee you will get something transformative by attending the call....I think.... unless of course something else is there to happen.

Michael Stratford and I have been teaching the Core Dynamics Coach Training for about two and a half years now. And what an experience this has been and continues to be. It's incredible to watch the transformation that takes place in people's lives as they go through the training.

This is because all of GLT's training programs are designed to massively upgrade the quality of the participants. It's been my philosophy all along that great coaching comes from great people so the very best thing we can do is to help people to debug and upgrade the quality of who they ARE by removing the inner barriers to their natural greatness.

And that's just what we do in the Core Dynamics Coach Training Program. You learn the Core Dynamics insights in great depth, how to be masterful at facilitating people's transformation using the Pure Awareness Techniques, and the Core Dynamics Coaching Protocol, and you also get prepared both for ICF - ACC level certification as well as GLT certification as a Core Dynamics Coach. But the real purpose of the program is to transform you into someone whose natural greatness simply shines through like never before in your life.

You may have heard me explain the concept that I call remembering the future. It's the way that I think of intentions. I think of intention not so much as something that we do but rather something that we are perceiving as coming up in our lives.

We'll I'm remembering a future in which there is a huge need for Core Dynamics Coaches.

This year we are conducting a scientific study to validate and quantify just how much the use of the Pure Awareness Techniques can impact Anxiety. The study will be done at the University of Texas - Austin at the Laboratory for the Study of Anxiety Disorders under the direction of Dr. Michael Telch, an internationally recognized expert on the study of anxiety disorders. This is going to move the Pure Awareness Techniques from being "soft science" to having enormous credibility.

And this is just the beginning. My newest book - The Power of How - Simple Techniques to Debug Your Ego and Your Pain-body, is finished, is being laid out now and will be ready to print shortly. Our intention is to do a lot of promoting of the book, getting it out through book stores and the Internet. In the book there are lots of references to Core Dynamics Coaching and encouraging people to hire a Core Dynamics Coach if they'd either like some help with learning the Pure Awareness Techniques or if they'd like to put themselves on the fast track to being able to live from Pure Awareness all the time.

We also have just started a new version of the WaveMaker Mastery Program and you can still get in as we've only had a couple of classes so far. It's easy to get caught up by listening to the recordings. If you have an interest, check out the link below.

I'm very happy to continue to get reports that more and more Core Dynamics and WaveMaker Coaches are making great livings and having fantastic careers and practices transforming their clients lives.
