Core Dynamics Coaching Training Certification Procedure

It is our desire that the distinction of being a Certifed Core Dynamics Coach be a meaningful and valuable asset for the coach to have when representing themselves in the world. Many potential clients want to know that you have "passed the test." By providing this distinction we can support you in building your business and being able to contribute to people's lives in deep and meaningful ways.

We do not see certification as the gatekeeper to an elite club.  We see it as something that will add value to you and give conficence to those potential clients who for whatever reason want a coach who has demonstrated their competence by meeting significant accreditation criteria.  We have a two-fold intention:

A. That applicants experience the certification process as an extension of their own personal evolutionary journey

B. That people in the world who hire a Certified Core Dynamics Coach can trust in the product since the standards for obtaining it are high

With these concepts as a foundation of our process, here are the steps of the certification procedure:

There are 4 discreet requirements that will be fulfilled:

1.  The applicant must have 100 hours (documented) of paid coaching sessions at a minimum rate of $100 per hour.   We believe this is valuable since it implies that the coach will have to have addressed any issues around making this rate or more and used the techniques of training itself to resolve any such issues.  It is an ongoing part of the personal development part of the Core Dynamics Coach Training.

Please note that if the applicant does not meet one or more of the following requirements, developmental feedback will be given. The applicant can re-apply after pursuing the needed developmental work and after a specified time frame to re-enter the certification process at the level they have previously met. It will not be necessary to go through previous stages again, just return to the appropirate stage in order to now demonstrate that it has been satisfactorily met.

2.  The applicant will engage in an interview with 1 or 2 assessors to determine the depth of personal development already attained.  We believe that the best coaches are the ones who do the most Core Dynamics work on themselves and to that end, it will be fairly evident that the work has been done, even while the interview is a subjective process involving the assessors'  intuition and natural knowing.

3.  The applicant will demonstrate via written exam and oral interview, their ability to articulate the essence of each dynamic so that they are prepared to utilize this information with clients as needed. This examination will include knowledge of the steps of the Core Dynamics Coaching Protocol and the Core Dynamics Code Checking Tool.  This will include at least:

  • The nature of how the dynamic works
  • The nature of the conditioning that creates the dynamic
  • What it looks like when it's present
  • What it looks like when it's absent

4.  The applicant will demonstrate in real situations the effective use of ALL 5 Pure Awareness techniques.  Three of these demonstrations will be submitted via CD or MP3 file to the assessor for review.  Two of these demonstrations will be done live.   One with a client the applicant provides and one with one of the assessors as the client.

There will be a fee for the certification process that is designed to address administration of the process, as well as compensate the assessors for their time.

Please be aware that receipt of this certification does not guarantee an invitation into the Great Life Coaching Portal.  That process is a separate review and is by invitation.

**For those who are considering also acquiring ICF credentialing and using the Core Dynamics Coach Training as the foundation for this, the ICF will require that the following also be met. Please note that an extra fee to cover costs is required by the ICF that is independent of Great Life Technologies, LLC. The ICF will additionally require:

A.  Demonstrated awareness of the ICF Core Competencies and their appropriate application via case study

B.  Demonstration of 'conventional style coaching'

C.  Formal application to ICF (It will be the applicant's responsibility to submit all data and fees required by the ICF.

We will support you through this process and help you to calibrate whatever is necessary in order to have a successful outcome and obtain your ICF Certification. While we strongly feel that you will be positioned well for the ICF credential, we of course cannot guarantee any particular outcome with regard to that credential.
